K 150 — a medium-maturing corn hybrid with a vegetation period of 123–129 days, belonging to the simple type and possessing high yield. The plant reaches a height of 200–240 cm, with ears positioned at a height of 95–115 cm. The grain is yellow, dent or cream-dent, dense, with approximately 16 rows. The 1000-grain weight is 270–280 g, and the milling yield reaches 80–83.5%. The hybrid is characterized by high resistance to lodging, drought, and cold, confirmed by a cold tolerance rating of 9 points. K 150 features a strong root system and sturdy stem, ensuring resistance to diseases such as helminthosporiosis, blister, and powdery mildew. It is a remontant hybrid, allowing for multiple harvests per season. It is adapted for cultivation in various climatic zones, including Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polесье, and is suitable for monoculture. Due to its high resistance to diseases and pests, as well as dense kernels with semi-open husk leaves, the hybrid ensures stable and high-quality yields. K 150 is also used for biogas production, expanding its functional application. The recommended planting density is 70–75 thousand plants per hectare, promoting optimal growth and maximum productivity. The high quality and structure of the grain make this hybrid in demand for both feed and industrial purposes.
