Hybrid maize AS 35010 (FAO 350) is a mid-season, simple inter-row hybrid with dent yellow kernels, suitable for cultivation as grain or silage. Plant height reaches 220 cm, and ear attachment height is approximately 60 cm. The hybrid features high plant uniformity and resistance to major diseases, including gray leaf spot, as well as pests such as the corn borer. Strong ear stalks and high flexibility ensure secure attachment, reducing losses during harvest. Seeds are treated with REDIGO M and PONCGO 600 FS, enhancing their protection and germination. AS 35010 is adapted for cultivation in various climatic zones, including the Polesie, Forest Steppe, Northern and Southern Steppes. The hybrid demonstrates high resistance to lodging both during physiological maturity and up to 30 days after, as well as high drought and heat tolerance, making it a reliable choice for extensive and medium-intensive cultivation technologies. Sowing is recommended at optimal temperatures of +10 °C, promoting high early growth rate and seedling resistance to short-term cold snaps. The hybrid is suitable for monoculture and can be successfully cultivated under traditional, minimal, and zero-tillage practices. High grain and silage yields under various cultivation conditions are confirmed by numerous trials: grain yield varies from 35 to 142 c/ha depending on region, while silage yield ranges from 165 to 850 c/ha. Seed packaging is in three-layer paper bags of 80,000 seeds each, ensuring convenient storage and transport.
