K 170

Corn hybrid K 170 is a medium-early hybrid with FAO 170-210, intended for universal use, including grain, silage, and meal production. This hybrid is characterized by high yield and adaptability to various climatic conditions, making it suitable for cultivation across a wide range of regions. Plants reach a height of 220-230 cm, have conical-cylindrical ears 20-22 cm long with 14-16 rows of kernels, and a 1000-kernel weight of 260-280 grams, indicating high seed quality.

Hybrid K 170 is characterized by resistance to lodging, stem breakage below the ear, as well as to major diseases and pests, including stalk rot and common smut. Ear attachment height ranges from 70-80 cm, and plants are well-branched, promoting effective photosynthesis and growth. Due to its resistance and adaptability, the hybrid shows stable yields, reaching up to 7.5 tons of grain per hectare in trials.

Hybrid K 170 was developed jointly by the State Institution Institute of Grain Crops NAAN and the company "Rost Agro" and has undergone testing in all climatic zones of Ukraine. It responds well to fertilizer application, allowing for increased productivity with proper agronomic practices. Thanks to its characteristics and universal purpose, this hybrid is a reliable choice for farmers seeking high and stable corn yields.
