Maize K 441 x K 423

Stable Yields in Challenging Conditions

Selecting a corn hybrid for grain production is always a quest for the perfect balance between yield potential and stress resilience. The K 441 Х К 423 hybrid from the Hungarian breeding center Woodstock is engineered for farmers who prefer a pragmatic approach: predictable results under intensive cultivation technologies.

Agrotechnological Highlights

The core strength of the K 441 Х К 423 lies in its grain physiology. Unlike many early-maturing competitors, this hybrid demonstrates high moisture loss rates at the end of the growing season, which is crucial for reducing drying costs. Designed specifically for grain production, it features a dense, well-filled cob right to the tip.

Sowing Guidelines

• Planting density: Optimal performance is achieved at a population of 75,000–85,000 plants per hectare.
• Management: The hybrid is highly responsive to nitrogen applications, yet its innate flexibility allows it to maintain yield levels even during moderate moisture deficits during the grain-filling stage.

The K 441 Х К 423 from Woodstock is best suited for farming operations in regions with adequate to medium moisture levels. It does not require specific “greenhouse” conditions but achieves its maximum genetic potential on fields with high-level agronomic practices. This is a robust tool for farmers who need a stable grain harvest without the typical post-harvest surprises.
