INSIDE

The hybrid corn INSIDE is an early-maturing three-line hybrid developed by the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Russian Research Institute of Sorghum and Corn". It is characterized by plant height ranging from 178 to 209 cm, and stem height to the lower developed ear of 60-72 cm. The vegetation period is 98 to 113 days, ensuring timely harvest. The average number of ears per plant varies from 1.0 to 1.2, and grain moisture at harvest ranges from 13.7% to 23.7%. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in various regions, including the Volga, Lower Volga, and Central Chernozem regions, confirming its adaptability and stability. INSIDE stands out for its high yield: the yield of mature grain at 14% moisture reaches 2.18 to 3.00 tons per hectare, while the yield of total green mass is 15.5 to 20.7 tons per hectare. The grain is characterized by high protein content (11.1-12.3%), starch (70-72%), and fat (4.8-5.2%), making it valuable for both feed and food production purposes. The grain type is dent with an orange upper and yellow lower portion, enhancing its attractiveness and quality. The plant has several morphological features: leaves are slightly curved, medium width, with moderate intensity anthocyanin coloration of the sheath of the first leaf. Flowering occurs early, and the ear has moderate spikelet density and weak to moderate anthocyanin coloration. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to corn borer, reducing the risk of yield loss. Due to its characteristics, INSIDE is suitable for grain and silage production, ensuring a stable and high-quality harvest.
