Maize CUBAN FOOD 450 MV

Hybrid corn CUBAN FOOD 450 MV is a mid-late maturing hybrid with FAO 450, characterized by high productivity and resistance to adverse conditions. The plant reaches a height of 280 to 330 cm, with ear attachment at 110-120 cm. The tassel has numerous medium-length lateral branches, and the anthocyanin coloration of the silk is weak. The kernels are toothed, predominantly white, with an orange hue at the top and yellow at the bottom. The 1000-kernel weight is 310-330 g, indicating large and dense kernels. The hybrid is highly drought- and cold-tolerant, allowing successful cultivation under various climatic conditions. It is resistant to the corn borer and certain broad-spectrum herbicides, simplifying crop care and protection. High starch content (over 67.8%, with some data indicating more than 72%) makes this hybrid particularly attractive for industrial use, including bioethanol, biogas, and silage production. Maximum grain yield reaches 101-103.5 centners per hectare, with protein content around 10.2 centners per hectare and fat content 5.5 centners per hectare. The plant has wide leaves and cylindrical ears of medium length and diameter, promoting good growth and yield formation. CUBAN FOOD 450 MV is a reliable choice for farmers seeking a high-quality, high-yield product with excellent technological characteristics.
