Maize ZETA 140 S

ZETA 140 S is an early-maturing corn hybrid intended for cultivation as grain or silage. It is characterized by high yield and versatility, making it an optimal choice for various regions and planting conditions, including late planting. The plant reaches a height of approximately 200-210 cm, has ears about 25 cm long, and medium-width leaves. Kernel type is flint-like with yellow-orange coloring on the upper part.

The hybrid exhibits high drought resistance and tolerance to dense planting, which contributes to stable growth even under adverse conditions. It is moderately susceptible to stalk rot and moderately damaged by corn borers, requiring adherence to agronomic practices for crop protection. The recommended seeding rate is 80,000 seeds per hectare for grain cultivation and 85,000 seeds per hectare for silage planting.

ZETA 140 S is well adapted for organic farming and double or repeated cropping, expanding its usability across various agronomic systems. Thanks to its characteristics and stable yield, the hybrid is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to obtain high-quality, high-yielding corn crops.
