The INSIDER corn hybrid is an early-maturing trihybrid variety with high yield and resistance to pests and diseases. It was developed and patented by Russian specialists and is recommended for cultivation in various regions, including central, southern, and western areas of Ukraine, as well as the Volga and Lower Volga regions of Russia. The vegetation period ranges from 98 to 113 days, allowing the hybrid to successfully adapt to different climatic conditions.
Plants reach a height of 178 to 209 cm, with stem height to the lower ear being 60-72 cm. The hybrid features toothed yellow kernels with high starch content (70-72%), protein (11.1-12.3%), and oil (4.8-5.2%). Grain moisture at harvest varies from 13.7 to 23.7%, ensuring good quality and preservation of the harvest. The average number of ears per plant is 1.0-1.2, and grain yield at 14% moisture reaches 2.18-3.00 t/ha, while the yield of total green mass may reach 15.5-20.7 t/ha.
The INSIDER hybrid exhibits high resistance to lodging, fungal diseases, and insects, including the corn borer. The recommended planting density varies by region and ranges from 45 to 75 thousand plants per hectare. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, this hybrid is suitable for cultivation in steppe, forest-steppe, and forested zones, ensuring a stable and high yield of grain and silage.
