Maize Zircon

Why Farmsaat Zirkon is the choice for consistent German quality

Working with Farmsaat corn has proven that the German approach to breeding focuses primarily on stability. The Zirkon hybrid behaves predictably in the field, which is vital for seasonal planning. Unlike many competitors, this hybrid does not require delicate adjustments to agricultural practices, forgiving minor errors in fertilizer application timing.

Field performance and growth dynamics

Regarding vegetation, Zirkon starts vigorously even in a cool spring. During harvest, the grain shows efficient moisture loss, which saves significant costs on artificial drying. The stalk is robust, and its resistance to lodging means you don't have to worry about losses, even if heavy rains delay combine entry into the field.

Economics and maintenance

• Yield potential: Consistently high performance even on medium-fertility soil plots.
• Protection flexibility: The crop responds well to standard crop protection schemes without showing hypersensitivity to herbicides.
• Harvest efficiency: Uniform ear placement and height make the threshing process comfortable for any class of machinery.

If you are looking for a predictable hybrid that won't deliver unpleasant surprises before harvest, Zirkon from Farmsaat is one of the most reliable tools in your rotation.
