Description Foliant
Foliant — a mid-early maturing corn hybrid from the company MAIS with a maturity group of FAO 310, intended for grain use. This hybrid is characterized by high yield, reaching 140-145 c/ha, and stable expression of traits under various climatic conditions. Plants reach a height of 275-290 cm, have a cylindrical ear 21-23 cm long with 16-18 rows of kernels and 39-41 kernels per row. Kernels are dent-shaped, yellow, with a 1000-kernel weight of 275-290 g, and a grain yield of 83-86% at harvest.

The Foliant hybrid is distinguished by high adaptability and resistance to adverse factors. It responds well to improved agronomic conditions and is suitable for cultivation in various regions of Ukraine, including Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe. A key feature of the hybrid is its high drought resistance (8-8.5 points out of 10), cold tolerance, and resistance to lodging (both 9 points), as well as high tolerance to Fusarium, head smut, and corn borer.

Foliant seeds are certified and guarantee high-quality planting material free of counterfeits. Due to its characteristics and resistance to stress factors, this hybrid is an effective choice for obtaining stable and high grain yields under various agroclimatic conditions.
