Description Golosiivskyi Novyi
Golosiivskyi Novyi is a medium-early hybrid of sweet corn of Ukrainian selection with a FAO index of 320, distinguished by high yield and adaptability to various climatic conditions. The plants form a strong root system that penetrates deeply into the soil, ensuring high drought resistance and efficient water absorption. Thanks to these qualities, the hybrid consistently shows excellent results even under drought conditions, as confirmed by the successful harvest of 2024.

The ear of corn has a toothed shape with 16-18 rows of kernels, the 1000-kernel weight is about 350 grams. The kernels are yellow-orange in color with possible red streaks, the ear attachment height is 100-120 cm. The hybrid is characterized by high resistance to major corn diseases, such as common and smut diseases, as well as stalk and root rot, which contributes to plant health and stable yields.

Golosiivskyi Novyi is characterized by rapid initial growth and high plasticity, allowing successful cultivation in various regions of Ukraine — East, Center, West, and North. Rapid water release during ripening ensures timely harvest and high grain quality. The hybrid's yield potential reaches 18 tons per hectare, making it an attractive choice for agricultural enterprises aiming for maximum productivity and resilience to stress factors.
