Maize Frodo

Frodo corn hybrid is a versatile plant designed for both grain and silage production. It is characterized by high and stable yields, especially on light soils, making it a reliable choice for various agroclimatic conditions. Plants of medium height (300–325 cm) form conical-cylindrical ears on short stalks with semi-toothed kernels, which facilitates efficient moisture release during maturation and simplifies harvest.

Frodo exhibits high resistance to lodging and drought tolerance, ensuring stable yields even under adverse weather conditions. Seeding rates vary depending on the purpose: for grain, 85–100 thousand seeds per hectare are recommended, and for silage — 95–110 thousand seeds per hectare. The medium starch content and good digestibility of green mass make this hybrid attractive for animal feeding.

This hybrid combines high productivity with adaptability, allowing its use in various agronomic systems. Thanks to its rapid moisture release and stress resistance, Frodo ensures a reliable and high-quality yield, making it a profitable choice for farmers seeking maximum production efficiency.
