DM Sticker is an early-maturing hybrid of sweet corn with a maturity group of FAO 250, intended for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe zones. The hybrid is distinguished by its high yield: in the steppe zone, it reaches 59.7 c/ha, in the forest-steppe zone — 79.7 c/ha, and in Polissia — 70.6 c/ha. Due to its adaptability, DM Sticker is successfully used for grain production, making it a versatile choice for farmers focused on efficient corn production.
One of the key features of the hybrid is its high resistance to adverse conditions. Plants demonstrate excellent drought tolerance (8.2–8.8 points), lodging resistance (8.8–9 points), and disease resistance (9 points), including high resistance to corn smut. Moreover, DM Sticker seeds exhibit high cold tolerance, ensuring rapid and uniform germination even at low temperatures, as well as promoting faster grain drying in steppe conditions.
The DM Sticker hybrid was registered in 2017 and has proven itself as a reliable and productive sweet corn variety. Its simple modified structure allows efficient use across various agroclimatic zones, ensuring stable yields and high grain quality. Thanks to these characteristics, DM Sticker is an excellent choice for farmers seeking optimal combinations of yield, resistance, and product quality.
