Description DN Julia
DN Julia — a medium-maturing, intensive-type hybrid of sweet corn, developed for cultivation under challenging climatic conditions. This hybrid is characterized by high drought, cold, and resistance to major diseases and pests, ensuring stable yields. The plant reaches a height of 250–270 cm, with an ear attachment height of 100–110 cm. The cylindrical ear, 22–24 cm long, contains 14–16 rows of kernels with a red core, and the kernels have a yellow-orange, toothed appearance with a 1000-kernel weight of 320–350 g. Grain yield is 80–82%.

A versatile hybrid, suitable for both grain and silage production, with yields of up to 14 t/ha for grain and 62 t/ha for silage. Thanks to its high growth intensity and resistance to lodging, DN Julia demonstrates high productivity potential. Recommended for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe zones, with optimal seeding rates of 50–55 thousand/ha in steppe and 70–75 thousand/ha in forest-steppe. For maximum yield, deep soil tillage is recommended.

Producer — company LLC Rost Agro, originator — Institute of Grain Farming, NAAN, Ukraine (city of Dnipro). Seeds are supplied in paper bags of 80,000 units and undergo treatment on high-quality equipment. Hybrid DN Julia replaces the "Monica" hybrid, surpassing it in drought resistance and yield stability, making it a profitable choice for farmers operating under variable climatic conditions.
