MEGAN

The hybrid sweet corn Megan, developed by Maisadour (France) and marketed by EuroSemen, is intended for cultivation as grain or silage. This mid-early hybrid with FAO 250 is characterized by high yield potential, achieving 14 tons of grain and 70 tons of silage per hectare. Megan is adapted to various soil-climatic conditions, enabling successful cultivation in the Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissia regions of Ukraine.

One of the key features of the hybrid is its resistance to several diseases, including fusarium, helminthosporium, and cercosporiosis. In addition, Megan demonstrates tolerance to drought, cold, and lodging, ensuring stable yields even under adverse conditions. High initial growth intensity promotes rapid plant development and efficient use of soil resources.

To achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to follow optimal planting densities: 85,000 plants per hectare for grain production and 90,000 plants per hectare for silage.
