Maize DN Vira

Technical profile of DN Vidrada: focus on grain efficiency

DN Vidrada is a result of selective breeding by the Institute of Grain Crops of NAAS, engineered to deliver consistent yields under the diverse climatic conditions of Ukraine. The core objective behind this hybrid is the optimization of grain filling and maturation processes specifically for grain production.

Grain structure and maturation physics

The grain type is dent. This choice is critical for operational efficiency: dent corn is characterized by a superior moisture release profile during the final stages of the vegetation period. For an agricultural enterprise, this translates into lower energy costs for post-harvest drying and an optimized logistics schedule during the busy harvesting window.

Operational advantages in the field

• High adaptability: The hybrid genetics allow for stable performance across various soil types found in Ukrainian regions.
• Harvesting reliability: Enhanced stalk strength significantly reduces lodging risks, ensuring minimal loss during mechanical harvesting.
• Optimized yield potential: The dent grain structure ensures high-quality production, meeting industrial grain standards consistently.

Choosing DN Vidrada means prioritizing predictability. The technical refinement of this hybrid minimizes exposure to environmental risks, providing farmers with a reliable tool for high-yield grain production while maintaining cost efficiency during the harvest phase.
