Maize DN Syntole

Maximizing Grain Yield with DN Syntole

For grain farmers, DN Syntole offers a balance of reliability and yield potential rooted in Ukrainian breeding. As a simple, dent-type maize hybrid, it is designed for predictable performance, provided that field operations are tailored to specific soil and moisture conditions.

Field Management and Density

The operational success of this hybrid depends heavily on managing plant density. Based on field feedback, the recommended sowing rates are as follows:

• 60,000–65,000 plants/ha: Recommended for areas with moisture limitations to ensure plants do not suffer from excessive competition.
• 80,000–85,000 plants/ha: The standard range for productive, well-managed fields.
• 85,000–90,000 plants/ha: Ideal for high-input scenarios or under irrigation, where the hybrid can fully express its yield potential.

Harvesting and Maintenance

With a maturity cycle of 120–140 days, logistics for this hybrid should be planned to accommodate the grain's dry-down characteristics. The dent kernel structure facilitates an efficient harvesting process, allowing for smooth combine operation with minimal seed damage and lower post-harvest cleaning costs. Being a simple hybrid, it offers high crop uniformity, which significantly simplifies weed management and fertilizer application timing.

DN Syntole represents a practical choice for operators who value proven genetics tailored to local environmental challenges. It minimizes the complexity of the growing season while providing the structural consistency required for large-scale grain production.
