Turan

Corn Turan is a mid-early, high-yielding hybrid of Ukrainian selection with FAO 280, intended for grain production. This hybrid features a dent-type kernel, ensuring rapid moisture release at 13-14%, as well as rapid early growth and high drought tolerance. Turan is adapted for cultivation using both intensive and extensive technologies, making it a versatile choice for various agroclimatic conditions.

Plants reach a height of about 300 cm, with ear attachment height of approximately 110 cm. The ear contains 14-16 rows of kernels, each containing 37-39 kernels. The potential yield of the hybrid reaches 165 centners per hectare, with an average yield of around 89 centners per hectare. High resistance to diseases and stress factors is confirmed by tolerance to stalk and basal fusarium, helminthosporium, blister, and aerial smut, as well as high resistance to lodging.

The hybrid is produced by the company LLC "TK Art-Agro" from Ukraine (city of Pomoshnaya, Kirovohrad region). Seeds are treated with fludioxonil and metalaxyl-M to protect against diseases. Hybrid Turan demonstrates stable yield even under adverse conditions, making it especially suitable for cultivation in the steppe, forest-steppe, and Polissia zones of Ukraine, ensuring high productivity on various soil types and moisture levels.
