DN Present

The hybrid sweet corn DN Present is a medium-maturing, simple modified hybrid with FAO 340, developed by the Grain Institute of NAAN Ukraine and produced by LLC "Rost Agro". Plants reach a height of 250-270 cm with ear attachment at 100-110 cm. The cylindrical ear, 22-24 cm long, contains 14-16 rows of yellow-orange dent-type kernels weighing 320-350 g per 1000 kernels. The ear stalk is red. Seeds are supplied in paper bags of 80,000 units and are treated with the fungicide Maxim XL.

DN Present is distinguished by high resistance to lodging, cold, pests, and major diseases, as well as enhanced drought tolerance, ensuring stable and high yields up to 14 tons per hectare. The universal-purpose hybrid is suitable for grain production in the steppe zone with irrigation, as well as for silage use in all regions. It has replaced the hybrid "Monica," surpassing it in drought resistance and yield stability.

For optimal cultivation, it is recommended to maintain plant density of 50-60 thousand per hectare in the steppe zone. Due to its high resistance to lodging and diseases, the hybrid allows for late harvest without significant yield losses. DN Present responds well to improved growing conditions, making it a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high and stable yields of sweet corn under challenging climatic conditions.
