DN Pulsation

DN Pulsation is a high-yielding early-maturing corn hybrid with FAO 210, distinguished by high cold and stress tolerance during cultivation. It is recommended for northern regions of Ukraine, particularly the Forest-Steppe and Polissia zones, and is suitable for both grain and silage production. The hybrid demonstrates intensive grain moisture release, making it effective for various tillage technologies, including conventional, minimum, and no-till methods.

The plant reaches a height of 230-240 cm, with an ear attachment height of 80-90 cm and an ear length of 21-24 cm. The grain is dent-shaped, yellow-orange with possible red streaks, has a 1000-grain weight of 200-350 g, and contains 73-76% starch. The number of rows per ear is 14-18, with a grain yield of up to 81.5%. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to diseases such as common and powdery mildew, helminthosporiosis, stalk rot, as well as drought, heat, and lodging.

The potential yield of DN Pulsation ranges from 10.3–14 t/ha depending on the region and growing conditions. The grain moisture content at harvest is approximately 16.5%. The recommended planting density varies from 50-55 thousand plants/ha in the Steppe to 90 thousand plants/ha in Polissia. The hybrid was registered in the State Register of Plant Varieties since 2020 and has proven its effectiveness across various agroclimatic zones of Ukraine, ensuring stable and high yields even under adverse weather conditions.
