RAM 8663

Corn RAM 8663 is a simple modified mid-season hybrid with FAO 340, intended for grain and silage cultivation in Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissia regions. This hybrid has been included in the State Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine since 2016, with seeds originating from LLC "NPAK "Stepnaya". Plants reach a height of approximately 230 cm, have 15-17 leaves on the main stem, and produce ears 25-27 cm long with a conical-cylindrical shape and red core. The kernels are yellow-orange, intermediate type, closer to dent type, with a 1000-kernel weight of approximately 260-280 g.

Hybrid RAM 8663 exhibits high drought resistance, lodging resistance, and resistance to major diseases and pests. It efficiently absorbs mineral and organic fertilizers, contributing to significant yield increases. Dry grain yield can reach 13-14 tons per hectare, with a grain content of 82%, starch content in kernels of 72.1%, and protein content of 8%. Due to these characteristics, RAM 8663 is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality yields in various climatic zones.

For optimal development and maximum productivity, it is recommended to follow specific planting densities: 40-55 thousand plants per hectare in Steppe, 55-65 thousand in Forest-Steppe, and 65-70 thousand in Polissia. This approach ensures efficient resource utilization and promotes stable plant growth. Corn RAM 8663 does not bush out, simplifying care and harvesting, and its lodging and stem break resistance enhance yield reliability even under adverse weather conditions.
