Description DN Sarmat
DN Sarmat is a medium-maturing hybrid of sweet corn with FAO 380, intended for cultivation in the Forest-Steppe and Steppe zones. It is characterized by high grain yield, reaching from 92.9 to 138 centners per hectare, making it a profitable choice for grain production. The hybrid is resistant to major stress factors, including drought, lodging, cold, and pests such as the corn borer, as well as diseases, particularly frogeye leaf spot, ensuring stable yields even under adverse climatic conditions.

DN Sarmat plants reach a height of up to 215 cm, with the ear positioned approximately at 85 cm. The cylindrical ear, up to 23 cm long, contains 16 rows of kernels, each with 34 to 38 light-yellow, rounded-oval, dent kernels. The vegetation period of the hybrid ranges from 121 to 128 days. The grain contains about 10% protein and 70.8% starch, indicating its high quality.

The hybrid seeds are coated with a biostimulant and eco-friendly paint without polymers, improving their protection and promoting better growth. Packaging is provided in paper kraft bags of 25 kg, ensuring convenient storage and transportation. The recommended planting density in the Forest-Steppe zone is 70-75 thousand plants per hectare, optimizing yield and product quality.
