Krivobochek's Memory

Krivobochek's Memory is a new variety of winter soft wheat, created using intraspecific hybridization and individual selection from a hybrid population. It is characterized by a short stem, which ensures high resistance to lodging, as well as high winter hardiness, reaching an average of 93%. The variety is medium-early maturing with a vegetative period of about 302-329 days and is intended for cultivation in various regions, including the North Caucasus and Lower Volga. Thanks to its resistance to brown and yellow rust, powdery mildew, as well as low susceptibility to septoria, head fusarium, and hard bunt, it demonstrates high adaptability to unfavorable conditions.

The yield of Krivobochek's Memory variety significantly exceeds standard indicators, reaching an average of 4.7-5.8 tons per hectare, which is 0.9-0.34 t/ha higher compared to the standard variety Fotinya. High yield is ensured by large grains with a 1000-grain weight from 37.2 to 46 grams, as well as a large number of grains per ear. The grain of the variety is distinguished by high quality: protein content is 14.6-15.3%, gluten - 24-32.7%, with gluten quality in the range of 60-105 IDK units, corresponding to Group I-III. These indicators make the variety particularly valuable for the production of bakery products.

The economic efficiency of cultivating Krivobochek's Memory variety is high: the profitability level reaches 122%, which is 41% higher compared to the standard. The variety consistently forms dense grain with a bulk weight of about 766 g/l, has good winter hardiness and disease resistance, which allows obtaining stable and quality harvests. Thanks to these characteristics, Krivobochek's Memory is a promising choice for agricultural producers oriented towards high-yield and high-quality grain.
