Description Daniel
Corn Daniel is a medium-early trihybrid with a FAO rating of 280, developed by the Ukrainian agrocorporation "Stepova". It is intended for cultivation as both grain and silage, demonstrating high yield potential — up to 140 ц/ha for dry grain and 560–680 ц/ha for green mass. Plants reach a height of 240–250 cm, have a red stalk, do not bush, and are resistant to lodging even under adverse weather conditions. Ears are conical-cylindrical in shape, 20–22 cm long, with 16–18 rows of toothed yellow kernels, ensuring high quality and uniformity of harvest.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major pests and diseases, as well as excellent heat and drought tolerance, making it suitable for various climatic zones of Ukraine — Steppes, Forest-Steppe, and Polissia. Due to its high stress tolerance and ability to maintain productivity under different sowing conditions, Daniel is ideal for intensive farming and responds positively to improved agronomic practices by increasing yield.

Corn seeds of Daniel are treated with two Syngenta protectants — Maxim HL and Viberan — providing protection against fungal diseases and other pathogens. The hybrid is certified and recommended for widespread use in Ukrainian agriculture. Its high technological efficiency, stability, and adaptability make Daniel a profitable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality grain and silage yields.
