Corn Daniel is a medium-early trihybrid with a maturity group of FAO 280, developed by the Ukrainian agrocorporation "Stepova". This hybrid features high yield potential — up to 135-140 centners per hectare for grain and 58-63 tons per hectare for silage, making it one of the leaders among corn hybrids in its line. Plants reach a height of 240-250 cm, have 18 leaves on the main stem, and ears of conical-cylindrical shape, 20-22 cm long, are attached at a height of about 90 cm. The kernels are tooth-shaped, yellow, arranged in 16-18 rows with 40-43 kernels per row, and the 1000-kernel weight is 300-320 grams.
Hybrid Daniel exhibits high resistance to adverse growing conditions. It shows excellent heat and drought tolerance, resistance to lodging, stem breakage, cold temperatures, as well as to major pests and diseases. Due to these qualities, corn adapts well to various climatic zones of Ukraine — Steppes, Forest-Steppe, and Polissia. The hybrid is not demanding in cultivation conditions and responds well to good agrofond, allowing its use in intensive farming with optimal planting density depending on the region.
Corn seeds of Daniel are treated with modern compounds Maxim HL and Vibran (Syngenta), providing additional protection against diseases and pests. Each seed batch is accompanied by a quality certificate confirming its high standards. Thanks to its adaptability and stable yield on various soils, hybrid Daniel is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality yields for both grain and silage.
