AURUS 380 MV — a mid-season hybrid of corn (Zea mays L.) intended for grain production. Plants are tall, reaching 265–275 cm in height, with medium-width leaf blades. The ear is long, 21–23 cm in length, with 16 rows of kernels and 38–40 kernels per row. The ear is attached at a height of 100–105 cm from the base of the plant. The kernels are dent-shaped, bright yellow in color, with a 1000-kernel weight of 290–310 g. At harvest, the grain moisture content is 16–18%, and the grain yield reaches 82–85%.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to various diseases and adverse conditions. It is resistant to stalk rot, bacterial diseases, ear and stalk fungal diseases, and demonstrates high drought, lodging, and root rot resistance. On the resistance scale, the hybrid receives ratings of 8–9 points, indicating its reliability under challenging climatic conditions.
The potential yield of AURUS 380 MV is 140–150 c/ha at optimal planting density of 65–75 thousand plants per hectare; under insufficient moisture, the density should be reduced to 50–55 thousand/ha. The hybrid is of universal use, suitable for both grain production and other purposes. The seed packaging contains 80 thousand seeds, facilitating ease of sowing and planning of sowing areas.
