Maize AURUS 210

AURUS 210 — this is an early-maturing, simple hybrid of corn (Zea mays L.), intended for grain production. The vegetative period is approximately 121 days, allowing for harvest within relatively short timeframes. The plants are characterized by very high stature, and the first leaf exhibits strong anthocyanic pigmentation in the sheath and a rounded to blunt tip shape. The ear is weakly conical in shape with medium cob density, medium-type kernels closer to silky texture, with yellow coloring on both upper and lower parts. The intensity of anthocyanic pigmentation in the ear stalk is medium, which is a distinctive feature of this hybrid. AURUS 210 demonstrates high yield potential, with average yields in the Central region reaching 82.8 c/ha, and maximum yields of 108.9 c/ha. The hybrid is well-adapted to various climatic conditions, allowing successful cultivation both in northern and southern regions of Russia. It exhibits disease resistance and can effectively develop on different soil types, making it a versatile choice for agronomists.
