The plants are short-stemmed, with a height of 67 to 86 cm, and exhibit high resistance to lodging. The grain is of medium size, round, red in color, with a slightly pubescent base and a shallow furrow. The mass of 1000 grains varies from 34 to 40 grams. The average yield of the variety in the region reaches 39.6 centners per hectare, while the maximum is 79.6 centners per hectare. The baking qualities of the variety are good, making it in demand for the production of quality flour. The variety is distinguished by high drought resistance, exceeding the standard, and winter hardiness, which is assessed as medium but above average. At the same time, VLADIMIRSKAYA 9 has medium resistance to brown rust, but is susceptible to yellow rust and powdery mildew. In addition, the variety is highly susceptible to infection by hard head smut, septoria, and stem rust, which requires mandatory seed treatment and the application of fungicidal treatments according to the recommendations of the plant protection service. For successful cultivation, VLADIMIRSKAYA 9 requires specific soil and agronomic technology. Winter wheat of this variety develops best on cultivated soils with a medium mechanical composition, especially on chernozem and chestnut soils. In steppe conditions, the moisture content of the seedbed at the time of sowing is of great importance, which affects seed germination and plant development. Thanks to its characteristics and adaptation to climatic conditions, the variety is widely used in grain production, occupying a significant share of sown areas.
