MAS 39 VSK

MAS 39 VSK is a mid-season corn hybrid intended for grain production. It is characterized by high yield, reaching up to 14 tons per hectare, and belongs to the maturity group with FAO index 350. The plant is tall with a large ear containing 14 rows of kernels, each row having 34 to 40 kernels. The kernel type is dent, and the 1000-kernel weight ranges from 330 to 360 grams, ensuring good productivity and grain quality.

The hybrid demonstrates high adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions, making it optimal for cultivation in the Polissia and Steppe regions of Ukraine. It exhibits good drought and lodging resistance, with resistance ratings of 9 and 8 respectively, contributing to stable yield formation even under adverse conditions. Additionally, MAS 39 VSK shows sufficient tolerance to common corn diseases, including helminthosporiosis, rust, and ear fusarium, with resistance ratings of 7–8.

The seeds of this hybrid are produced by Maïsadour Semences S.A., the originator of the variety. MAS 39 VSK is included in the State Register for the North Caucasus region and is recommended for cultivation in similar climatic zones. Due to its characteristics, this hybrid provides high moisture release and stable grain quality, making it an attractive choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality corn yields.
