LAN 1518

LAN 1518 is an early-maturing corn hybrid included in the State Register of the Russian Federation. The plant features a straight leaf with a narrow blade and a small angle between the leaf and stem. Roots have medium anthocyanin coloration, and the tassel emerges early. The tassel has weak anthocyanin coloration of the spikelet bracts and lacks or has very weak pollen coloration. The ear is short, medium thickness, with a small number of rows of hard-type kernels colored yellow-orange and orange. The plant has medium height and small size, which facilitates cultivation and harvesting. Hybrid LAN 1518 exhibits high resistance to various pests and diseases, ensuring stable yields and high productivity. Seeds of this variety are widely used for planting purposes, as well as for growing both feed and grain corn. Due to its characteristics, LAN 1518 is suitable for silage and grain production, making it a universal choice for farmsteads and private plots. For ease and speed of removing kernels from corn cobs in home conditions, an electric corn sheller "LAN" can be used. This device is intended for small farms and allows effectively obtaining planting grain, especially from the middle part of the cob. The corn sheller has compact dimensions and low weight, consumes no more than 120 W of electricity, making it convenient and economical to use.
