SUYDINETS

SUYDINETS is a variety of red clover (Trifolium pratense L.), belonging to the legume group. It is a diploid and biennial plant, which defines the features of its biological cycle and cultivation. The variety is characterized by early-mid flowering time, allowing effective use under various agro-climatic conditions. The plant stems are of medium length and thickness, with moderate hairiness, while leaves have medium sizes with characteristic white markings, which are abundant. The inflorescences are red, and the seeds are multicolored, which is a distinctive feature of the variety. SUYDINETS was created in scientific institutions of the North-Western region of Russia and included in the state register of breeding achievements for the Central and Volga-Vyatsky regions. It is adapted for cultivation in various areas, including Kaliningrad, Kostroma, Leningrad, Novgorod, Pskov, Tver, and Yaroslavl. Thanks to its characteristics, the variety is widely used in agriculture, especially for industrial cultivation of fodder crops, which contributes to providing livestock with quality feed. Red clover SUYDINETS is distinguished by high productivity and durability, making it in demand among farmers and agrarians. Its biennial cycle allows obtaining several cuts per season, increasing overall yield. This variety is suitable for cultivation in temperate climate conditions and contributes to improving soil fertility due to nitrogen fixation ability, which positively affects subsequent crops in crop rotation.
