AKKADIA

Persian Clover of the AKKADIA variety is a mid-season fodder crop included in the State Register of the Russian Federation. This variety is characterized by high fodder value and can provide 3-4 cuts per season. The first seedlings appear just 8 days after sowing, while the period from emergence to commercial maturity is 61-65 days. The plant has a straight stem about 43 cm high, trifoliate leaves, and a spherical inflorescence. Yield of green mass reaches 550 centners per hectare over two cuts, with dry matter content at 76 centners per hectare. Seeds are large, colored from brown to blue-green, and hay contains up to 18% protein, making it a valuable feed for animals.

The AKKADIA variety has good cold hardiness and resistance to Alternaria, which increases its reliability under various climatic conditions. However, pure stands may be susceptible to weed contamination, so the use of herbicides is recommended to maintain crop purity and maximum productivity. In addition, Persian Clover AKKADIA is characterized by high drought tolerance and low cultivation requirements, making it universal and convenient for use in various regions.
