Clover Kerzhak

A Versatile Solution for Livestock and Landscaping

Clover variety 'Kerzhak' from Ooo Vpered Spasskogo R-na is a breeding product aimed at farmers seeking a balance between high feed value and operational durability. Developed in collaboration with 'Agroecosystems', this variety demonstrates exceptional viability in temperate climates.

Key Advantages

• Resistance to Mechanical Stress: Unlike many fodder varieties, 'Kerzhak' excels under intensive grazing conditions. Its turf recovers rapidly even after regular trampling by livestock.
• Multifunctionality: Farmers benefit from dual utility: the variety is suitable both for harvesting high-protein green mass and for establishing high-quality pasture lands.
• Honey Production Potential: Due to its specific flowering biological traits, 'Kerzhak' serves as a valuable resource for beekeepers, ensuring a consistent honey harvest during the growing season.
• Aesthetic Value: The dense stand makes this variety a viable component for lawn mixtures that require minimal maintenance and possess high ground coverage density.

Who is this variety for?

'Kerzhak' is optimal for farms practicing pasture-based livestock management that aim to increase profitability per hectare by combining forage production with local apiary support. Unlike narrow-specialized hybrids that require 'greenhouse' conditions, this variety from Ooo Vpered Spasskogo R-na stands out for its hardiness and readiness for active exploitation.

Strengths: High regrowth rate after mowing and resilience to climatic stress. Limitations: Like any intensive variety, it requires weed control during the establishment year to ensure pure stands.
