Korbi

Korbi is an early, high-yielding endive-type lettuce variety suitable for year-round cultivation, both in open ground and under cover. The plant forms a semi-closed, dense rosette with small, finely cut leaves colored dark green with a yellow center. The average rosette weight reaches up to 500 grams, and the vegetation period is 60-65 days. Due to its cold tolerance, the variety can withstand frosts down to -8°C and quickly recover after them, making it suitable for early sowing in the soil.

The Korbi variety is characterized by high resistance to major diseases, including tip burn and internal necrosis, as well as low tendency to bolting. It requires nutrient-rich soil, preferring loamy and clay soils, which promotes the formation of high-quality, vibrant green leaves. The lettuce leaves have a rich flavor with a pleasant bitterness, making it popular for fresh consumption, especially in salads.

Due to its characteristics, the Korbi variety is widely used in commercial salad mix production and belongs to the premium quality segment. Its versatility and resilience allow cultivation under various climatic conditions and ensure a stable yield throughout the season.
