Chicory AMUR ARROW

Refined bitterness in your garden: 'Strely Amura' chicory

The 'Strely Amura' leaf chicory is a breeding development by the Sedek company, designed for gourmets who value not only the health benefits of vegetables but also a distinctive flavor profile. Unlike common leaf lettuces, this variety offers a more complex sensory experience. The originators of this hybrid are the leading specialists of the Sedek agro-firm: S.V. Dubinin, I.N. Dubinina, and A.N. Lukyanenko.

Agrotechnics and culinary features

This variety belongs to the leaf (lettuce) type of chicory. It is easily recognized by its vibrant green leaves, which form a lush rosette. When grown in a garden, 'Strely Amura' does not require highly specific conditions; however, proper care is essential to achieve the ideal flavor profile.

• Taste qualities: The main highlight of this variety is a light, noble bitterness. It makes the vegetable's flavor expressive and memorable.
• Culinary application: The variety is perfectly suited for fresh salads. Due to its texture, the leaves pair beautifully with dressings based on olive oil, lemon juice, or walnuts, which gently balance the piquant bitterness.
• Purpose: The variety is intended for fresh consumption. It is recommended to harvest it gradually as it grows to ensure the leaves remain juicy and crisp.

The reputation of the Sedek brand as one of the leading producers of seed material ensures consistency with the stated variety qualities. 'Strely Amura' is the choice for those who want to diversify their diet with healthy greens that have 'character,' going beyond the standard iceberg or butter lettuce.
