Chicory Primafine

Why «Primafine» is a game-changer for chicory processing

The primary challenge for industrial chicory processors has always been natural bitterness, which necessitates complex and costly neutralization methods. The «Primafine» variety, developed by the renowned Dutch company Enza Limited, addresses this challenge at the source. This hybrid was engineered specifically for industrial use, where taste stability and processing efficiency are paramount.

Key advantages for industry

• Zero bitterness: This is the variety's most significant asset. Primafine allows processors to bypass certain stages of the technological chain, ensuring a cleaner final product without sacrificing quality.
• Processing-ready: The standardized shape and root structure simplify mechanical cleaning and slicing, effectively minimizing waste during production.
• Dutch breeding standards: Utilizing Enza Limited’s genetic expertise ensures high germination rates and uniform crop quality, essential for consistent factory supply lines.

Who is this variety for? Primafine is the choice for professionals operating in the deep processing sector: manufacturers of instant beverages, dietary supplements, and food additives. If your business model focuses on delivering high-quality, mild-tasting products to consumers, this hybrid will become your key technological advantage. Unlike wild or less selective varieties, Primafine does not require aggressive thermal or chemical treatments to remove unwanted bitterness, which directly translates into lower production costs and a more natural end product.
