Chicory Vespero

Vespero F1 — this is a late hybrid lettuce-type chicory variety developed by the Dutch company Enza Zaden. This variety features conical, compact heads about 24-25 cm long with light green leaves. The leaves have a pleasant, slightly sweet taste, making the lettuce suitable for fresh consumption as well as for use in salad mixes, smoothies, appetizers, and garnishing dishes.

Vespero F1 is characterized by high growth speed and resistance to bolting and low temperatures, allowing it to be grown in various seasons — spring, summer, and autumn. The plant adapts well to changes in temperature and prefers a moderate climate. Thanks to its compact head structure, the lettuce is easy to transport and retains an attractive appearance during storage.

Vespero F1 is suitable for both open-ground cultivation and year-round growing. Its market qualities and resilience make this variety popular for processing and commercial sale, ensuring a stable yield and high-quality product.
