This variety was obtained from open pollination of the Novodvorskaya variety. Breeders: E.P. Syubarova, P.M. Sulimova, M.I. Vyshinskaya, T.S. Shirkova. Under state variety testing in Russia since 2004.
Tree is strong-growing, with medium-density crown, pyramidal shape.
Fruits are medium-sized (3.7 g), round, dark-red, dry detachment from the pedicel. Stone is medium-sized, easily separates from flesh. Flesh is dark-red, medium density, juicy, pleasant sour-sweet taste, tasting score 4.5 points. Juice is dark-red. Chemical composition of flesh: dry matter content — 11.4%, titratable acids — 1.1%, sugars — 7.82%, ascorbic acid — 5.2 mg/100g, pectin — 0.47%. Harvesting period: mid-July.
Enters fruiting by the 3rd year after planting in orchard on seedling rootstock. Self-fertile. Mid-season ripening variety, high-yielding (13 t/ha at planting scheme 5 x 3 m on seedling rootstock wild cherry). Cold-hardy. Moderately resistant to coccomyces and monilial burn.
