Authors: A.E. Pankratova, K.K. Mullaianov, D.L. Golovachev. Introduced into the State Register since 2002 for the Ural region.
Bush height 1.2 m with a small trunk 10-15 cm. Round crown, branches compactly arranged, branch tips pointing upward, medium density, good foliage. Shoots brown, with silver sheen, hairy. Bud medium, elongated, smooth, angled relative to the shoot. Leaf small, length 4 cm, width 1.8 cm, elongated-ovate, bluntly pointed, green color, anthocyanin on petiole, leaf tip pointed, base narrow-angled, leaf margin doubly serrated, leaf surface smooth, glossy, no hair on lower surface, leaf blade folded along main vein into a boat shape, no glands. Petiole short 1.2 cm, medium, no stipules. Flowers in inflorescence 4-5 flowers, average diameter 2.6 cm, corolla saucer-shaped, petals touching, weakly wrinkled, white color, broadly oval shape, rounded tip. Stigma higher than stamens, 25 stamens, no hair on ovary, calyx bell-shaped, calyx lobes lanceolate, no serration on calyx lobes, hairy surface, flower stalk length 1.8-2.0 cm. Flowering and fruiting type on one-year shoots 35%, on flowering branches 65% (40% on two-year wood and 20% on multi-year).
Fruit: mass 3.0 g, shape broad-heart-shaped, apex pointed, depression medium, red color, no covering, flesh pink, juice pink, medium density. Fruit stalk short, medium thickness. Pit round, mass 0.10-0.13 g, 6.1-8.0% of fruit mass, cream color, easily separates from flesh. Flowering period — May 14-25. Fruit appearance score 4.8, flesh juicy, taste sour-sweet, taste score 4.3, dry detachment from stalk, suitable for mechanical harvesting, medium transportability, fruits resistant to cracking. Dry matter content in fruit — 14.6%, sugars — 8.8%, free acids — 1.5%, ascorbic acid — 10.7 mg/100g. Universal variety, suitable for making jams, compotes, juice.
Ripening period — July 10-28, simultaneous. Yield 4-8 kg per bush. Enters fruiting 2-3 years after planting in garden, long-lived — up to 20 years. High frost resistance of flower buds, high resistance of flowers to late spring frosts. High drought resistance. Moderate heat resistance. High resistance to coccomycosis: in years of maximum disease development, infection was up to 1 point, resistance to other diseases and pests high.
High-yielding, self-fertile, suitable for industrial and collective orchards. Production assessment of the variety high — attractive, upright tree, especially in absence of crown closure, annual yield 8-10 kg per tree, corresponding to 10-12 t/ha, among the best in taste quality.
Advantages of the variety: high winter hardiness of tree and fruit buds, high resistance of flowers to spring frosts, early ripening, abundant fruiting and yield, high degree of self-fertility.
Disadvantages of the variety: difficult to propagate by rooting green cuttings under equal conditions.
