Local variety from the Moscow region. Possibly a seedling from spontaneous cross-pollination of the variety Hungarian Homegrown. Introduced into the State Register for the Central Region.
Medium-sized tree with a round, spreading, fairly dense crown. Leaves of medium size, elongated, green. Fruit-bearing on one-year-old shoots and bouquet branches.
Fruits below average size, weighing 20 g. Fruit shape is round-oval, sometimes egg-shaped, asymmetrical. The ventral suture is clearly visible. Skin color is dark purple-red, with an intense bluish-purple waxy coating, coarse. Pit is of medium depth and width. Peduncle of medium length, thin. Flesh is amber-yellow, coarse, juicy, very firm. Taste is sour-sweet, average. Pit is of medium size, elongated-oval shape, easily separates from the flesh.
Winter hardiness and resistance to fungal diseases are average. Productivity is average — about 20-35 kg per tree. Early-bearing, self-fertile, bears fruit almost every year.
