Cultivar seedling selected by marker traits at the VNIILUPIN. Authors: M.V. Kanshina, A.I. Astakhov. Introduced into the State Register since 2001.
Low-growing tree with a medium-dense, panicle-shaped crown. Bud is small, vegetative conical, strongly deviated, generative oval. Shoots are straight and thick. Leaves are medium-sized, leaf margin serrated, glands large and yellow. Flowers are medium-sized, white, plate-like, petals free or touching, stigma at the same level or above the anthers, calyx cup-shaped, no teeth, stamens medium, stigma long. Bears fruit on one-year-old growth.
Fruit: average mass 5.2 g, maximum 7.2 g, width 20 mm, height 23 mm, thickness 21 mm, broadly rounded shape, medium depression, flat-round apex, fruits dark red, flesh and juice dark red, medium density. Pedicel very long (64 mm), medium thickness, strongly thickened at the depression and occupies a significant part of it. Stone oval, mass 0.36 g, 7.4% of fruit mass, light brown, apex slightly pointed, base rounded, detaches from flesh medium. Fruits large, attractiveness 5.0 points, juicy, taste 3.9 points, universal use, contains 8.8% sugars, 1.7% acids, 17.2 mg/100g vitamin C.
Flowering and ripening are late, enters fruiting at 3 years. Self-sterile. Best pollinators — Turgenevka, Octava, Kizilovka. Medium resistance to coccomyces and moniliosis. Average yield 37 centners/ha, maximum — 46 centners/ha.
