Carrot variety Chernozemochka is a medium-maturing vegetable with a cylindrical root of medium length and a blunt tip, belonging to the Nantes variety group. Roots have an orange core and peel, weighing between 91 and 170 grams. The plant's leaves are of medium length, green, with finely to moderately divided shapes, forming a semi-spreading rosette. The carrot has good taste qualities, making it versatile for fresh consumption, canning, and winter storage.

The variety is characterized by high dry matter content (11.2-18.8%), total sugar content (5.3-8.4%), and carotene reaching up to 18.7 mg per 100 grams of raw product. This ensures not only a pleasant taste but also high nutritional value. The market yield of the Chernozemochka variety ranges from 289 to 398 centners per hectare, which is 70 centners higher than the Vitamin 6 standard and matches the Nantes 4 standard level. The maximum yield recorded reached 547 centners per hectare.
