Odyssey

Odyssey carrot is a late-maturing hybrid with a maturation period of 135 to 155 days from germination to technical maturity. The plant has a semi-spreading leaf rosette, which ensures good root development. The root is spindle-shaped, 25 to 30 cm long, has smooth orange skin and weighs 150 to 250 grams. The flesh is orange-red, firm, and has high taste qualities, making this variety universal for various uses.

Odyssey is recommended for fresh consumption, as well as suitable for freezing, canning, and long-term winter storage. Such a wide range of applications makes this variety attractive for both home gardeners and commercial growing. The variety yield reaches up to 6.5 kg per square meter, indicating high productivity and growing efficiency.

Sowing Odyssey carrot seeds should be done in open ground at the end of April - beginning of May at a depth of about 1 cm. The distance between rows is recommended to be about 15 cm. After germination, thinning is necessary, leaving 5-7 cm between plants, which contributes to optimal root development and increased yield.
