Vestri F1

White cabbage Vestri F1 is a medium-maturing hybrid intended for cultivation in open ground during spring-summer and summer-autumn periods. The maturation period is 85 to 110 days after transplanting seedlings, allowing harvest at optimal times. The plant is strong with large leaves, characterized by high uniformity in head shape and size, ensuring consistent product quality and ease of harvesting and processing.

Vestri F1 heads are round-oval in shape, dense, weighing from 4 to 8 kg, with short stems and thin inner leaves. Inner leaves are white, crisp, with slight veins, possessing excellent taste and high dry matter content. The cabbage has a light green or gray-green hue with a waxy coating, contributing to excellent storability and resistance to cracking. The hybrid shows high resistance to fusarium (race 1), reducing disease risks and enhancing harvest reliability.

Vestri F1 is suitable for fresh consumption, processing including pickling, and short-term storage up to 4 months. The cabbage tolerates transportation well and retains its qualities when stored on the root. To achieve maximum yield, a planting density of 30-35 thousand plants per hectare with a 60x60 cm spacing scheme is recommended, along with regular loosening and watering. Cultivation in plastic greenhouses is also possible for an earlier harvest. High yield and excellent adaptability make Vestri F1 a profitable choice for farmers and processors.
