Berlikum carrot is a late-maturing variety ideal for professional cultivation, distinguished by its high yield. The maturity period is approximately 120-150 days, making it optimal for regions with a long summer season, as well as for winter sowing. The roots have a conical shape with a blunt end, measuring 20 to 25 centimeters in length and weighing between 120 to 550 grams depending on growing conditions, such as irrigation. The skin and core are colored bright orange, indicating a high carotene content.

One of the main features of the Berlikum variety is a high level of carotene — up to 21 grams per 100 grams of pulp, along with sugar content of up to 9% and dry matter up to 16%. Thanks to these indicators, the carrot is distinguished by its sweet taste and juiciness, making it in demand for both dietary and children's nutrition, as well as for processing. The roots are well suited for making purées and juices, and also have excellent storability, which allows storing them for a long time without loss of quality.

The Berlikum variety is recommended for planting both early in the spring and late in the autumn, which allows obtaining earlier produce. It is distinguished by ease of cultivation and durability, which makes it popular among farmers and gardeners. High yield — up to 80-100 tons per hectare — and excellent taste qualities make the Berlikum carrot one of the leaders among late-maturing varieties.
