Carrot hybrid of the Nante type with slightly shorter roots (18-20 cm). A genetic feature of this hybrid is the quality of the seeds. Elegance F1 seeds have high germination energy and viability, resulting in earlier and more uniform seedlings. The vegetative period is 130-140 days. The leaves are dark green and well-attached to the root. The prolonged life of the leaf surface, normally developed leaves positioned vertically and not touching the soil, reduces the likelihood of Alternaria disease. In September, it starts forming new leaves much later, which extends the storage period without compromising root quality. The roots are resistant to damage during harvesting, resulting in high net yield both after harvest and after washing. Elegance F1 is a break-resistant carrot. The root surface is perfectly smooth and easily cleansed of dirt. After washing, the roots develop a very attractive bright orange color that remains vibrant for a long time under normal conditions. One of the standard features of all Nunhems hybrids is the absence of green shoulders, which, combined with the bright orange color, is crucial for fresh market sales. The exceptional resistance of the roots to damage, along with strong leaf attachment, make this hybrid indispensable for mechanical harvesting.
