SV 3118 DC F1 carrots are a super-early, high-yielding hybrid of the Shantane sortotype with a vegetation period ranging from 85 to 95 days. The plants are powerful, featuring a well-leafed semi-spreading leaf rosette of dark green color, characterized by toughness and strength, which enables mechanized harvesting. The root crops have a cylindrical or conical shape with a blunt tip, measuring 15-18 cm in length and 4-5 cm in diameter, with a smooth surface and uniform structure. The root crops exhibit a rich orange-red coloration, with an orange core and peel.

The hybrid is distinguished by its excellent taste qualities, containing 13.2% to 14.5% dry matter and a total sugar content of 7.3-8.3%. It is resistant to breakage, cracking, bolting, and flowering, and does not form green shoulders, which increases the yield of marketable produce to 85-92%. Due to these characteristics, SV 3118 DC F1 carrots are suitable for fresh consumption, culinary use, juice processing, canning, freezing, and long-term winter storage.

The recommended sowing rate is 1.0-1.5 million seeds per hectare, which may vary depending on the purpose of cultivation.
