Carrot Gollandka

Stable Yield: "Hollandka" Carrot by "Svityaz"

The "Hollandka" carrot variety from the "Svityaz" seed company holds a strong position in the mid-early crop segment designed for professional vegetable farming. Developed with local climatic conditions in mind, this variety has become a go-to solution for growers seeking predictable results within moderate ripening timeframes.

Technical Advantages and Applications

The core specialization of this hybrid is processing and early sowing under plastic films. With a vegetation period of 80–90 days, it allows farmers to plan a consistent product supply chain. The cylindrical shape of the root, measuring 10–15 cm in length and weighing 80–100 grams, is considered the "gold standard" for processing plants: it is highly efficient for automated cleaning, dicing, and packaging.

• Early Start: Using plastic film covers enables harvesting 10–14 days earlier than the standard schedule.
• Efficiency: The roots are characterized by high uniformity, significantly reducing waste during industrial processing.
• Reputation: "Svityaz" products are known for their adaptation to regional soil conditions, ensuring consistent germination rates and high marketability.

Choosing "Hollandka" is a sound decision for farms engaged in contract farming. The moderate weight of the root prevents overly coarse texture while preserving the characteristic flavor and rich color, which are critical requirements for juice and vegetable mix producers.
