ZABAVA is an early-maturing carrot hybrid with a period from germination to technical maturity of 95-100 days. The roots have a medium length, cylindrical shape in the Nantes type, with a bright orange core and skin. The flesh is distinguished by its juiciness, tenderness, and high sweetness, making this variety universal for growing as a bunch product, culinary processing, and winter storage. The hybrid has resistance to bolting and root cracking, which improves crop quality and preservation. Sowing seeds is recommended in furrows at a depth of 1.5-2.0 cm; while seedlings are emerging, cover the sowing with film to maintain optimal soil moisture. After the appearance of the first two pairs of true leaves, the first thinning is carried out, and the second when the roots reach a diameter of about 1 cm. Winter sowing is also possible in late October - early November at a depth of 3 cm. For successful growing, timely watering, weeding, loosening, and feeding of plants are necessary. ZABAVA prefers neutral, well-drained soils and optimal growth conditions. Plants are planted with a distance between rows of about 15 cm, and after thinning, 5-7 cm is left between plants. The mass of the roots varies from 50 to 100 g, which makes them convenient for harvesting and further use. Thanks to its characteristics and resistance, this hybrid is suitable for both fresh consumption and long-term storage.
