Description Narvik
Narvik carrot is an improved early hybrid of the Nantes type, distinguished by high yield and good adaptability to various climatic conditions. The vegetation period is approximately 120 days, allowing for a stable harvest at optimal times. The leafy rosette of this hybrid is strong, upright, and has a deep green color, indicating good plant development and resilience.

The carrots of the Narvik variety have a correct cylindrical shape, 18-20 cm long and 3-4 cm in diameter. They feature a uniform, rich dark-orange color, smooth surface, and very sweet taste. The internal core is thin with a small center, virtually indistinguishable in color from the rest of the flesh, enhancing product quality. The hybrid has increased carotene content, making it especially beneficial for health.

Narvik carrot is resistant to cracking and withstands washing well, facilitating its use for fresh market sales and storage. The hybrid matures uniformly, ensuring even harvest. The recommended planting density is 1,000–1,200 plants per hectare, optimal for achieving high-quality and quantity output. Due to its characteristics, Narvik carrot is widely used both in agriculture and gardening.
